In the previous post I mentioned the butterfly exhibit at Lewis Ginter. I caught it on the last day and I’m so glad I got to see it! When the exhibit is over the butterflies will be packed up and sent to their next destination in little envelopes…interesting.

The weather here in RVA has been perfect. The oppressive summertime humidity has been minimal so far and it’s pleasant to be outside. This weekend I went to Maymont Park – one of my favorite places – with the intent to get up closer to what I saw. From the tops of trees to animals to butterflies my intent was to capture the far away closer and the close even closer. Enjoy.
