B&W Archives.

I haven’t had much time to shoot anything new so I started poking through some HTC shots from last summer and found a good amount that I hadn’t posted.

These b&w shots from Maymont caught my eye. Enjoy.

Up Close And Personal.

The weather here in RVA has been perfect. The oppressive summertime humidity has been minimal so far and it’s pleasant to be outside. This weekend I went to Maymont Park – one of my favorite places – with the intent to get up closer to what I saw. From the tops of trees to animals to butterflies my intent was to capture the far away closer and the close even closer. Enjoy.

Maymont In The Springtime.

Back in March I went to Maymont Park, one of my favorite local parks here in Richmond.  It was a bright sunny spring day and the tulips and wisteria in the Italian Gardens were in full bloom.  The Japanese Garden (which just celebrated it’s 100th anniversary) was also bright and green that day with turtles sunning themselves on some rocks.   The panorama is of the Grotto…a stone alcove that, depending on the season, has water filling it up.

Here’s a taste of spring at Maymont’s Italian and Japanese Gardens. Enjoy.
